The Chariton 7th grade boys track team had a number of high finishes at the Lil Charger Middle School Boys Relays at Bob Cain Track in Chariton Thursday, April 29. Chariton placed fifth overall as a team with 47 points.

In the shot put, Dakota Wilson placed second overall with a throw of 29’5.5”. In the long jump, Chase Williams placed second overall with a jump of 13’10”.

In the distance medley relay, the team of Williams, Gavin Master, Dylar Chandler and Brent Crabb placed second overall in 5:02.55.

In the sprint medley relay, the team of Williams, Master, Bo Pierschbacher and Brent Crabb placed third overall in 2:16.05.

In the 4 x 200 relay, the team of Jace Gwinn, Kaleb Carr, Easton Wilson and Ky Curran placed fourth overall in 2:04.61. In the 4 x 400 relay, the team of Dylar Chandler, Master, Cade Querry and Pierschbacher placed fifth overall in 5:15.15.

In the 100-meter dash, Cade Querry placed sixth overall in 14.32. Drew Chandler placed ninth in 15.75. Bodhi Shounkwiler placed 10th in 15.98. Wilson placed 15th in 16.64.

In the 200-meter dash, Williams placed seventh overall in 30.65. Cody Dyer placed 13th in 35.44 and Jake Goben placed 14th in 37.23.

In the 800-meter run, Dylar Chandler placed 12th overall in 3:05.21. Shounkwiler placed 20th in 3:21.03.

In the 4 x 100 relay, Chariton’s team of Drew Chandler, Goben, Wilson and Summit Fogel placed seventh in 1:08.84.

In the 4 x 800 relay, the team of Cade Querry, Cullen Querry, Pierschbacher and Crabb placed fourth overall in 12:11.93.

In the long jump, Pierschbacher placed 17th overall with a jump of 10’08”. Shounkwiler placed 18th with a jump of 10’05”. Drew Chandler placed 19th with a jump of 10’04”.

In the discus, Goben placed 12th overall with a throw of 61’02”. Fogel placed 15th with a throw of 50’7.5”.
