The Chariton Varsity volleyball team traveled to Twin Cedars Tuesday, Sept. 14, and came away with a 3-1 victory.

Chariton started out slowly losing the first set, 16-25. However they came back with strong, consistent play to win the next three sets: 25-18, 25-14 and 25-20.

“We struggled to get started tonight and find our rhythm. In set two we found some hitting rhythm and then we relaxed and started to play our tempo,” Chariton Head Coach Christopher Watkins said.

In serving, Addie McGee went 9-9 with one ace. Layne Braby went 19-20 with two aces.

Hall had 24 kills on the night. Caci Goldensoph had six kills and Macy Wood had four kills.

McGee had seven digs on the night. Hall and Wood each had six digs. Goldensoph had two blocks. Tammera Alexander had one block.
