The All-Conference selections for the 2021 South Central Conference volleyball season have been released and Chariton had five players named to the all-conference team.

Chariton senior outside hitter Avery Hall was a unanimous First Team All-Conference selection. Senior middle hitter Caci Goldensoph was named to the All-Conference Second Team. Senior Setter Lexi Smyser, junior Setter Grace Watkins and junior Defensive Specialist Layne Braby were each named to All-Conference Honorable Mention.

Along with Hall, other unanimous First Team All-Conference selections were Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont freshman Outside Hitter Molly Shafer, EBF junior Outside Hitter Whitney Klyn and Davis County junior Setter Chloe Fetcho.

Knoxville sophomore Outside Hitter/Specialist Brittany Bacorn, Davis County senior Libero Kara Greiner and EBF freshman Setter Kate Shafer were also named to the All-Conference First Team.

Other players named to the All-Conference Second Team were: EBF junior Right Side hitter Cooper Champoux, Davis County junior Outside Hitter Sophia Young, Davis County junior Middle Hitter Kallie Greiner, Albia senior Outside Hitter Tanae Thiravong, Knoxville junior Libero Emma Dunkin and Centerville junior Libero Emma Weber.

Other players named to All-Conference Honorable Mention were: EBF senior Defensive Specialist Sarah Schutt, EBF senior Middle Hitter Ruth Gutch, EBF junior Defensive Specialist Cassidy Long, Davis County junior Middle Hitter Kayla Joos, Davis County senior Defensive Specialist Briley Lough, Davis County junior Outside Hitter Stephyn Wilfawn.

Also, Albia junior Outside Hitter/Libero Sophie Waber, Albia junior Middle Hitter Addy Halstead, Albia senior Libero/Defensive Specialist Adelina Curiel, Knoxville senior Outside Hitter Abby Wadle, Knoxville sophomore Middle Hitter Ella Breazeale, Knoxville junior Outside Hitter Melanie Sullivan, Clarke sophomore Setter Ali Henry, Clarke senior Right side hitter Sophia Hicks, Clarke sophomore Outside Hitter Ava Hagen, Centerville senior Outside Hitter Allison Casteel, and and Centerville junior Middle Hitter Rachel George.

Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont won the 2021 SCC regular season conference volleyball standings with a 6-0 record. Davis County was second at 5-1 and Albia was third at 4-2. Knoxville was fourth at 3-3 and Chariton was fifth at 2-4. Centerville was sixth at 1-5 and Clarke was seventh at 0-6.
