The Chariton JV volleyball team competed at the Chariton Invitational JV Tournament held at the Chariton Community Center Saturday, Sept. 11.
Since East Union did not have a JV team, the Chariton JV team split into two teams, Chariton JV North and Chariton JV South.
Chariton JV North results
Chariton JV North finished second in the north pool of teams and fourth overall in the tournament.
Chariton JV North lost to Davis County 14-21 and 12-21. They beat North Mahaska 21-18 and 21-12. They beat Wayne 21-10 and 21-12. They lost to Southeast Warren 15-21 and 7-21.
Individually in serving Hailee Smith went 25-27 with five aces. Maddi Howell went 3-4. Brooklyn Collins went 14-15 with four aces. Charlotte Entrekin went 17-22 with four aces.
Peyton Ruble went 9-9 with one ace. Tanlee Keltner went 5-7 with one ace. Milanna Primakov went 14-19 with two aces.
In hitting, Cori Geesaman went 3-4 with one kill. Howell went 5-7 with one kill. Collins went 6-9 with two kills. Charlotte Entrekin went 3-5 with two kills. Ruble went 2-5 with one kill. Brooklynne Masters went 4-5 with two kills.
Chariton JV South results
Chariton JV South finished third in the south pool of teams and fifth overall in the tournament.
Chariton JV South lost to Albia, 15-21 and 14-21. They lost to Southeast Warren 15-21 and 7-21.
Chariton JV South also won both games against Interstate 35 and they won two of three games against North Mahaska. No scores were available for these matches.
Individually in serving McKinleigh Milledge went 16-17 with three aces. Tatyana Allen-Winston went 3-3. Alivia Curtis went 10-13 with five aces. Leah Chandler went 3-5.
Jessica Metzger went a perfect 21-21 with five aces. Aubrey Snuggs went 14-16.
In hitting, Curtis went 1-2. Allen-Winston went 6-7 with two kills. Reagan Gall went 6-7 with two kills. Chandler went 5-6 with one kills. Hannah Schlutz went 3-3 with one kill. Ava Johnson went 1-2.
