The Chariton JV1 volleyball team lost to Twin Cedars, 2-0, in a non-conference match at Twin Cedars Tuesday, Sept. 14. The scores of the match were 20-25 and 20-25.

“We played well for about half of each game. We need to receive serves and communicate better in order to start winning more of these matches,” Chariton JV1 Head Coach Brian Zimmerli said.

In serving, Hailee Smith went 9-9 with five aces. McKinleigh Miledge went 8-8 with three aces. Brooklyn Collins went 4-5.

Alivia Curtis went 3-3 with one ace. Jessica Metzger went 3-4 with one ace. Aubrey Snuggs went 2-2 with one ace. Peyton Ruble went 2-2. Leah Chandler went 1-2.

In hitting, Tatyana Allen-Winston went 7-7 with one kill. Reagan Gall went 5-7. Brooklynne Masters went 2-3 with two kills. Ava Johnson went 1-1. Smith went 1-1 and Cori Geesaman went 1-1.
