The Chariton Varsity volleyball team got a big win with a 3-0 victory over Twin Cedars at Chariton this past Thursday night. The scores of the match were 25-21, 25-22 and 25-15.

“We had an all-around great game for the first time all season. Our passing was the nest it has been all year and our kill percentage was the highest it has been all season. We also had the most aces tonight all season. This was a great bounce back game after our Clarke loss. I was very proud of our team tonight. It was a nice way for our seniors to have their last home game be a victory,” Chariton Head Coach Christopher Watkins said.

Bailey Shelton had a perfect night serving going 6-6 with one ace. Layne Braby, Grace Watkins, Lexi Smyser and Tammera Alexander each had three aces as the Chargers completed 14 total aces on the evening, the most they’ve had all season for one game.
