The Chariton girls cross country team had an outstanding night at the South Central Conference meet at Davis County Oct. 13 with three girls make all-conference and placing second overall as a team behind only Davis County.

Emerson Fehrer, Haddon Anderson and Sailor Anderson each made all-conference for Chariton. Fehrer placed third overall in 21:58 and Haddon Anderson placed fourth overall in 22:01. Sailor Anderson placed 10th in 22:56 to earn all-conference honors for the third time.

Also running varsity, Jayden Jensen placed 23rd overall in 24:21. Nadiia Miroshnik placed 27th in 24:50. Milanna Primakov placed 31st in 25:23 and Milana Gogan placed 34th in 25:43.

Davis County won the overall Varsity girls team standings with 29 points. Chariton was second with 61 points. Albia was third with 76 and Knoxville was fourth with 82. Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont was fifth with 128. Clarke and Centerville didn’t have enough runners to register a team score.
