“On a day where the weather is usually cold, we were gifted with a beautiful night to compete for a conference championship. The boys did a great job of dialing in and taking advantage of the opportunity presented to them. Our goal going into the meet was to improve on our fourth place finish from last season and we were 17 points shy of doing so. Knoxville has been a team that has really been giving it to us throughout the season so it was encouraging to see the guys step up and compete so closely with them,” Chariton Boys Head Coach Eli Horton said.
