The Chariton girls golf team claimed both top team and individual honors at a home triangular meet against Davis County and Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (EBF) at Lakeview Golf and Country Club in Chariton Thursday, April 22.
The Lady Chargers placed first overall as a team with a 232 score and Chariton’s Brenna Shriver placed first overall individually with a score of 49. Davis County placed second at the meet with a 238 score and EBF was third with a 256.
Also golfing for Chariton, Tenley Williams shot a 53. Bethany Fejeran shot a 59. Mikayla McCurdy shot a 71 and Reagan Gall shot a 74.
“I’m very excited for Brenna. She played her best round of nine so far shooting a 49. The team did well also and had to step up without Peyton Ruble, who has a hip injury,” Chariton Head Coach Jeanna Snook said.
