Scaffolding repair work at newspaper office completed

It’s finished! The work on repairing the scaffolding above the front entrance of the Chariton Newspaper office at 908 Court Avenue is now complete. The barricade that has been up in front of the newspaper office for a while now was taken down this past Friday and people once again have an easy and direct way to get into the newspaper office. Mark DeVildiss of C&D Masonry in Rippey, Iowa, was the contractor for the newspaper scaffolding project. (Bill Howes photo)
