The ADLM Emergency Operations center is operational and every member of our local government, health care system and emergency management team are focusing their efforts on the COVID-19 response.

It is important for residents to make prevention a priority by practicing social distancing, staying away from gatherings of people, avoiding nonessential travel and maintaining a 6- foot distance between yourself and others, stay home if you can and wear a face covering when out in public.

Everyone can do his or her part to help respond to COVID-19. Every-day prevention methods are very important:

-Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

-Stay home if you are sick

-Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or elbow/upper arm.

If you are sick or experiencing illness, particularly with symptoms of fever, cough, and difficulty breathing call your health care provider. And please stay home away from others if you are ill until you are fever-free for 24 hours without taking medication AND symptoms have improved AND it has been at least 10 days since first symptom.

We want to assure our community that we are aggressively responding to protect the health and safety of Lucas County residents. We strongly encourage our community to follow the recommendations of local public health and healthcare providers. Please call 641-774-4312 if any questions.
