Unofficial results for Tuesday election.

Public Measure NP passed overwhelmingly, 344-21. It only needed a simple  majority to pass. 344 people voted yes and 21 people voted  no.

There was a write-in ballot for the DIstrict 1 Chariton School Board seat. Becky Shelton received the most write-in votes with 188 and was elected to the seat. Steve Harvey received 26 write-in votes and there were 29 scattering votes.

The above results are unofficial and the official canvas for the special school election will be held Monday afternoon, March 13 at the Lucas County Courthouse in Chariton.
