The Chariton 8th grade girls A basketball team beat Albia, 34-18, at Chariton Dec. 9. Chariton built a 20-12 halftime lead and held Albia to just six points in the second half.

McKenzie Snook had 11 points, eight rebounds, four assists and five steals. Abigail Doran had eight points, nine rebounds, one assist and two steals. Addie McGee had eight points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals.

“We played as a team tonight and passed the ball very well. I was excited to see the way we rebounded and were patient on offense,” Chariton Head Coach Jeanna Snook said.

Tatyana Allen-Winston had five points, nine rebounds, one assist and one steal. Alivia Curtis had two points and two rebounds. McKinleigh Milledge had three rebounds and Maddison Howell had one rebound.
