The Chariton Middle School softball team closed out their season with a doubleheader at Melcher-Dallas June 28.

The CMS girls won the first game, 12-0, and they were leading the second game, 4-0, when it was stopped due to the weather.

In this game, McKenzie Snook went 3-3 with three singles, four RBIs and three stolen bases. Sydney Cain went 3-3 with three singles, two RBIs and one stolen base.

Abigail Doran went 2-3 with two doubles, one RBI and one stolen base where she stole home. Briley Atwell went 2-2 with two singles. Heidi Ballard went 2-2 with two singles. Hailee Smith went 2-2 with a double, single and two RBIs.

Addie McGee went 1-3 with a double. Addie Peterson went 1-3 with a single. Lucy Stratton went 1-2 with a double and two RBIs.

In this game, Stratton was the pitcher and McGee was the catcher.

Second game

In this game, Peterson went 1-1 with a double and two RBIs. Smith went 1-2 with a single and two RBIs. Doran went 1-1 with a single and McGee went 1-1 with a single. Snook went 0-1. Stratton went 0-1 and Cain went 0-1.
