The Lucas County Health Center Board of Trustees held their annual election of officers at their first meeting of the New Year at LCHC Tuesday, Jan. 7.

The board decided to keep the same officers as last year, which are: Sue Frazier-Chairman, Mike Miller-Vice Chairman, Lisa Junkman-Secretary and Dave Fletcher-Treasurer.

The board approved the proposed committee appointments for 2020 for the Finance, Quality, Policy, CEO Compensation, IHA (Iowa Hospital Association) Council on Education and Member Services, IHA Council on Health Information and the IHA Council on Representation and Advocacy.

The board decided to keep the committees the same as they were last year. The Finance Committee members include Hospital Board members Natalie McGee (Committee Chair), Mike Miller and Randy Westman along with new Chief Financial Officer Jay Christensen and Dr. Ken Anderson, DO, of the LCHC Medical Clinic. The finance committee meets the last Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in the David M. Miller Board Room at LCHC.

Members of the Quality Committee include Hospital Board members Dave Fletcher (Committee Chair), Angie Dachenbach and Lisa Junkman. Hospital staff members serving on the Quality Committee include LCHC Pharmacy Manager Ann Moon, LCHC Quality Improvement Manager Twilla Kruzic, LCHC Chief Operations Officers Lori Johnson and LCHC Chief Nursing Officer Jo Beth Lawless.

The Quality Committee meets the last Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Education Room at LCHC.

The Policy Committee has just one member in Lisa Junkman and does not meet.

The CEO Compensation Committee’s members are Sue Frazier (Committee Chair), Mike Miller (Vice Chair) and Randy Westman (Past Chair). Their meeting dates are yet to be determined.

Members of the IHA Council on Education and Member Services include Hospital Board member Natalie McGee and LCHC Education Manager Darcy Juline. Their meeting dates haven’t been set yet.
