Former Miss Rodeo Iowa is new 4-H County Youth Coordinator

Logan Kinyon is the new County Youth Coordinator for the Lucas County Extension Office. A former Miss Rodeo Iowa, Kinyon brings a bright and friendly energetic personality to the position that she would like to use to grow the Lucas County 4-H program into an even greater entity and have its membership soar to unprecedented heights.

As County Youth Coordinator, Kinyon oversees the Lucas County 4-H and Clover Sprouts program. She started in her new position about a month ago and before that she was employed as Youth Coordinator at the Warren County Extension Office for about a year and a half.

Prior to this, Kinyon had the honor of being Miss Rodeo Iowa 2017. As Miss Rodeo Iowa, she spent the year traveling to rodeos all over the country including from Las Vegas, Nev., to Florida, Oklahoma, and even to the Calgary Stampede in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Kinyon also went to many rodeos within Iowa as well.

“I would compare the Calgary Stampede with the Iowa State Fair, but with the Stampede having more of a rodeo focus,” Kinyon said.
