CMS Students of PRIDE for Respect at assembly

Chariton Middle School held the second assembly for their new Student of PRIDE program at the middle school this past Friday afternoon. PRIDE is an acronym that stands for Positive, Respect, Integrity, Dependable and Effort.

The Student of PRIDE program started at CMS this school year and is designed to recognize students who display positive character/academic traits that are in line with the middle school’s school-wide behavior expectations. CMS Behavior Interventionist Michael Moran oversees the program.

Five assembles will be held throughout the school year with each one recognizing Students of PRIDE for a different letter or trait of the PRIDE acronym.
