Nicole Loew (pronounced low) is running for the Director At Large District 4 seat on the Chariton School Board in the combined city and school board election Nov. 5. She is running for her first term against another first time school board candidate, Jamie Aulwes.
Loew and her husband Michael have lived in Chariton since July 1, 2018. They have two children including Annabelle, 4, who is in the 4K preschool program in Chariton, and Fletcher, 18 months.
Michael is a dentist at the Prairie Trails Family Dental Clinic in Chariton and Corydon.
Nicole currently does Quality Improvement Research at the Iowa City Veterans Administration Hospital. She commutes to work from home and goes to Iowa City two days a week.
